Cecil Morris Doughtie Sr., 70, of the 2700 block of Salem Road, a retired aircraft mechanic, died Feb. 10, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Doughtie was born in Holland, Va., and attended Salem Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. He was retired from the Naval Air Station, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Stewart Doughtie; one daughter, Louise Doughtie Hayes of Virginia Beach; three sons, Cecil M. Doughtie Jr. and Paul H. Doughtie, both of Virginia Beach, and Carlton Stewart Doughtie of New Port Richey, Fla.; one brother, B.R. Doughtie of Norfolk; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by Dr. James Eads. Friends may join the family at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kemspville Chapel, Virginia Beach, from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 4020 Ware Neck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
