Haas - George W. Haas at Ochsner Foundation Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Betty Guidry Haas. Son of the late John Henry Haas and Amelia Schmidt Haas. Father of Diane Muhs. Brother of Florence Scavo, Eva Hagen and the late John Haas and Henry Haas. Grandfather of Stephanie Muhs. Great-grandfather of Tyler Sabel and Brennan Sabel. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Haas served in the United States Army for 9 1/2 months as a private. Age 80 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 25 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 11:00 am.
