Mom Katherine E. is working as a tipper at an umbrella factory while daughter Katherine A. is working as a pincher at a candy factory.

The 1930 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Ward 2, Pennsylvania, ED#49, page 44A taken April 10, 1930 records the widow Katherine E. Kirchner (58 - NY/Germany/Germany) with son Paul (23 - PA/) and daughter Romaine (18) living at 521 East Marion Street. Paul is a truck driver for a dairy and Romaine is a stenographer for a linoleum plant.

Catherine married W. Francis Joseph Kirchner, son of Gregor Adam Kirchner and Margaret Fisher, circa 1903 in Lancaster, PA. (W. Francis Joseph Kirchner was born in May 1876 in Pennsylvania and died circa 1915 in Lancaster City, Lancaster Co., PA.)
