Census records for Isle of Wight Co., Va. indicate due to proximity that Jethro Rhodes (born ca 1810) had a brother, Elam Rhodes, born ca 1813. Other brothers appear to be Everett, born ca 1806, John, born ca 1816 and Archer, born ca 1820.

The Virginia Marriages 1740-1850 Database at ancestry.com records the marriage of Jethro Rhodes to Charlotte Crumpler on 22 February 1832.

The 1900 Federal Census for Virginia, Isle of Wight Co., Windsor, District 18 records Jethro H. Rhodes (Dec 1809) with his wife Susan (March 1840). Nearby are sons Jethro (March 1840) and family and James (Oct 1836) and family, and also grandson Rubert R. (sic) (Jan 1877) Rhodes.
