Winborne Cemetery
Located on Rt. 644 (Indian Trail, between Deerpath Rd. and Carr Lane in Buckhorn, Va.; established in 1906. This land has been in the Winborne family aince the early 1800's.
There are a total of seventeen graves, four with no markers.
The Winborne Family Cemetery was established in the year 1906, by Thomas Parker Winborne, Sr. and his wife Martha Sarah Harrison Winborn after the death of their third grandchild, Lilla Martha Winborne born July 25, 1906 and died Nov. 26, 1906. The second person to be buried here was Sarah (Sallie) Stallings Winborne who died in 1906 and was buried at the edge of the field by the road.
