The 1880 Federal Census for Richmond, VA, District 77, page 438A, dated June 7, 1880 records John L. Moring (28 - VA/VA/VA) and his wife Robinetta (19 - VA/VA/VA) living at 708 West Clay Street. John is a Real Estate Agent.

The 1900 Federal Census for Richmond, VA, Clay Ward, District 64 records Jas M. From an April 24, 2010 posting at genforum.genealogy.com from Marlena Mooring Saupe:
I think that Wyatt Moring had three children, Caswell, Mary and Susanna. Caswell is the father of William Wyatt and William Wyatt is the father of John Lucias Mooring who is my grandfather. The paper I have is very confusing in who is the father of whom, after Wyatt Moring. It looks like Wyatt's parents are Benjamin Moring who was married to Mary Cheatham. Benjamin's parents are John moring(B.1715, D.1799 in Surry) who was married to Sarah. That's about all I can read from the paper I have of my family tree.
