  General Notes:

Ella signed her mother's widow's pension application as Ella M. Schneider. She indicated that she has been an "acquaintance" of her for 15 years. If this "Ella" is indeed her daughter, she would be 21. This discrepancy is possibly explained by the legal notion of "an age of awareness" of 6 years. It should be noted that a cosigner of the application is Ada M. Helms, another daughter.

(William Schneider (Snyder) Jr. was born on 27 Feb 1874 in Pennsylvania, died on 25 Sep 1947 in Upper Darby, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania and was buried in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware Co., PA.) The cause of his death was Hypertension / Arteriosclrotic Heart Disease.
