The William's Annual Lancaster City Directory 1888 lists Hagen, Lillie M., Miss, bds [boarding] 420 Lancaster Avenue. This is the home of her parents, Albert & Sarah Hagen. Also listed as boarding there is her sister Carrie Hagen.

The March 20, 1888 Lancaster Intelligencer reported that Miss Lillie M. Hagen had received satisfactory marks for practice teaching in the Martic Schools at Mt. Nebo. The December 10, 1889 Lancaster Intelligencer reported that Miss Lillie Hagen had been selected as a teacher in the Mt. Nebo School.

Lillie and her husband, William H. Weise of Shenk's Ferry, are mentioned in the 1901 obituary of Albert Hagen.

The 1900 Federal Census for Conestoga, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, ED#15, page 219B. dated June 5, 1900 records William H. (March 1865 - PA/PA/PA) with his wife Lille M. (January 1868 - PA/PA/PA) Weise and children Helen M. (Dec 1895) and William H. (Sept 1897). William is a Hotel Keeper and has been married to Lillie for 10 years. They have had 2 children.

The 1910 Federal Census for York City, Ward 8, York Co., Pennsylvania, District 123, page 192A, dated April 19, 1910 records William H. Sr. (45 - PA/PA/PA) and Lillie M. (42 - PA/PA/PA) Wise (sic) and children Helen M. (14) and William H. Jr. (12) living at 46 Jackson Street. William is a Bar Clerk at a Hotel and has been married to Lillie for 20 years. They have had 2 children. Lillie is a dressmaker.

The 1920 Federal Census for York City, Ward 8, York Co., Pennsylvania, District 129, page 208B, dated January 7, 1920 records William H. (55 - PA/PA/PA) and Lillie M. (51 - PA/PA/PA) Weise and children Helen M. (24) and William H. Jr. (22) living at 40 West Jackson Street. William Sr. is a Machine Operator at a Roofing Plant while William Jr. is a book keeper at an office.

The 1930 Federal Census for York City, Ward 9, York Co., Pennsylvania, District 109, page 243A, dated April 4, 1930 records the widow Lillie M. Weise (62 - PA/PA/PA) and her daughter Helen M. Weise (34) renting at the home of Clarence and Grace White at 35 Belvidere Avenue. Lillie is not employed but Helen is a saleslady at a dry goods store.

Lillie and Helen are listed in the 1931 York City Directory living at 35 S Belvidere av.
