The 1910 Federal Census for Lancaster, Ward 7, PA, District 83, page 148A, dated April 21, 1910 records Charles (28) and Cora (28) Renolds with children Victor (7), Virginia (6), and Melvin (4) living at 329 Dauphin Street. Also in the household is Charles' widowed mother-in-law, Sarah Howry (55). Charles and Cora have been married for 8 years and have had 3 children all of whom are living. Sarah has had 2 children both of whom are still living [Cora & Ira Howry]. Charles is employed as a Driver of an Express Wagon while Cora is working as a Coverer at an Umbrella Factory.

The WWI Draft Registration Card for Charles Locher Rannels lists his date of birth as August 7, 1881. His wife's name is Cora Bertha Rannels. They live at 337 Green Street in Lancaster. He is employed as a Finisher at the Armstrong Cork Co. He is medium height and build and his eyes are Light Blue and hair is dark.

The 1920 Federal Census for Pennsylvania, Lancaster Co., Lancaster City, Ward 7, District 71, page 59A records Charles L (38) and Cora B. (38) Rannels with children C. Victor (17), Virginia (15), Melvin H. (14), and Robert G. (6) living at 337 Green Street. The family is living nearby Charles' parents, Samuel and Flora Rannels.

In 1930, the widower Charles Rannels (48) is living at 514 North Mary Street with his son Robert (16) although they are listed as "boarders". The head of the household is Walter S. Cox (52) who is renting the property, most likely from Charles Rannels. Charles continues working at a Linoleum Company.

The cause of her death was Cerebral Hemorrhage.
