The WWI Draft Registration Card for Willie Silas Adkins dated Sept. 12, 1918 records his date of birth as Oct. 8, 1881. His nearest relative is his mother, Seleanie (sic) Adkins of Callands. Willie states that he is farming in Callands and signs his registration as W. S. Adkins. His physical description is tall and stout with blue eyes and light hair.
