Mrs. Nell Frances Inman Terry, age 100 of 1402 Westover Drive, passed away early Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Roman Eagle Memorial Home.
Mrs. Terry was born on May 21, 1912 in Axton, Va., a daughter of the late Fletcher Inman and the late Mattie Hutson Inman. She had lived most of her life in the Danville area. She was employed by Dan River Mills for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Anderson Chapel United Methodist Church. She was married to Clyde Leonard Terry, who predeceased her on June 10, 2000.
Mrs. Terry is survived by two children, Russell P. Terry and Martha T. Childers both of Danville, two sisters, Lois I. Gregory of Providence, N.C. and Anita Hopkins of Lexington, N.C., six grandchildren, Ricky Terry and wife, Kim, Patsy Hall and special friend, Robert, Stuart Lee Terry, Vonda Childers Worley and husband, Jeff, Preston Childers and wife, Laura, June Moss Matherly and husband, Dewey, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Terry was predeceased by one daughter, Anne Marie T. Moss, one grandson, Tommy Moss, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012 from Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Reverend Robert Hardy IV officiating. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm and other times at the residence, 1402 Westover Drive.

Nell married Clyde Leonard Terry, son of Eldridge Preston Terry and Abigail (Abbie) Francis Adkins, on 2 Aug 1929 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. (Clyde Leonard Terry was born on 28 Oct 1910 in Pittsylvania Co, VA, died on 10 Jun 2000 in Danville, VA and was buried in Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA.)
