Obituary from www.findagrave.com: Birth: 1902 Death: 1989 - Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., PA Patriot-News, The (Harrisburg, PA) - Thursday, November 30, 1989 Romaine D. Bates, 87, of 502 W. Elmwood Ave., Mechanicsburg, died yesterday in Harrisburg Hospital. She was retired from the Mechanicsburg School District, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg, and its John Kline Sunday School Class. Surviving are three brothers, Herman Kile of Mechanicsburg, Edwin Kile of Camp Hill, and Elmer Kile of Somersworth, N.H.; two sisters, Edna Ramp of Thompsontown, and Katherine Adams of Mechanicsburg; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Mechanicsburg 17055.
