(23) and Tom (21) living at 413 South Lime Street. Chester and Francis have been married for 25 years. Chester is a Street Commisioner for the City.

The 1920 Federal Census for Lancaster City, Ward 7, Lancaster Co., PA, District 69, page 40B records Chester W. (59) and Francis M. (58) Cummings living at 413 South Lime Street. He is listed as employed by the State of Pennsylvania (can not read document as what he is employed as). Since he was Mayor of Lancaster City from 1920-1926 one can assume he continued in politics.

From a Historical Records Card File at the Lancaster County Historical Society there is a listing taken from a local newspaper that Frances N. Hagen married a Cummings on Nov. 12, 1884. This is also found in LDS microfilm records of births, deaths, and marriages from Lancaster Newspapers as compiled by the LCHS. Using census records it can be concluded that the "Cummings" who married Frances Hagen was Chester Cummings.
