He is living at 413 South Lime Street (his parent's house) and is employed as a Chemist at General Chemical Company. He is single and reports having spine trouble. His physical description is short and slender with brown eyes and black hair.

The 1930 Federal Census for Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York,(Districts 751-1000), District 857 records Thomas (42 - PA/PA/PA) and Alma (50 - Missouri/VA/Missouri) Cummings living at 2101 Westberry Court. Tom was first married at age 24 while Alma was first married at age 17 ... thus this is a second marriage for Alma. Tom is a Chemist at a Chemical Company. The age at first marriage for Thomas is questionable in that the 1920 census has a Tom Cummings (32 - PA/PA/PA) employed as a Chemist for General Chemical in Chicago, Illinois and he is single. The 1930 census is probably first married at age 34.

The WWII Draft Registration Card (for men born on or after April 28, 1877 and on or before February 16, 1897) for Tom Cummings dated April 27, 1942 lists his date of birth as June 13, 1888 in Lancaster, PA. He is living with his wife, Alma, at 2915 Quentin Rd., Brooklyn, NY. He is working for General Chemical Co. of NY and his physical description is 4' 11", 125 lbs with brown eyes, black hair and light complexion.
