Melvin has completed 8 years of schooling and is employed as a Stringer at a Piano Manufacturer earning $1,100 working 52 weeks during the last year while Isabel has completed 4 years of high school and is employed as a Saleslady at a Dept Store earning $750 working 52 weeks during the last year. They were all living in this same residence on April 1, 1935.

DICE. On Nov. 30. 1944, at 8:30 a. m., at his home 604 E. Market St., John Harvey Dice, husband of Daisy V. Dice, aged 63 years, 2 months and 22 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Sunday at 2 m., at the Etzweiler Funeral home. 732 Market St., York. Interment in Prospect Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Etzweiler Funeral home, Saturday from 7 to 9 p. m.
Deaths and Funerals John Harvey Dice John Harvey Dice, 63, died suddenly this morning in the city ambulance at 8:30 o'clock in route to his residence, 604 East Market street. He was stricken shortly after he reported for work about 7 o'clock at the Weaver Piano company. Dice was a member of the Fraternal Beaver Association No. 169 and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, York Area No. 183. He is survived by his wife, Daisy V. Dice; a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Bateman, Harrisburg; two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Roy Eshelman, Hummelstown and Mrs. George Bissinger, Lebanon; two brothers, David W. Dice, Trotwood, Ohio and Charles W. Dice, Carlisle and two step-daughters, Mrs. Isabella Blauser, at home and Mrs. Helen Baker, 740 East Clark avenue. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 732 East Market street. Rev. Charles A. Chamberlin, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church, will officiate. Interment will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
