John Hardin Hodges, 80, of Myrtle Beach, died Feb. 10, 2003, in South Carolina.
A U.S. Army veteran and Myrtle Beach hotel owner.
Surviving are his wife, Oneita Ford Hodges; a son, J. Michael Hodges (Kim), of Charlotte; a daughter, Mary H. Shields (Kenny), of Easley; stepdaughters, Kathy Galloway Archer (Mike), of Kings Mountain, N.C., and Nancy Galloway, of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren; brothers, James Leonard Hodges (Juanita), of Chesnee, and Ralph Hodges (Betty), of Richmond, Va.; and a sister, Bernice Hodges Smith (Hubert), of Martinsville, Va.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday, at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, from 6 to 8, tonight, at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.
