  General Notes:

The 1910 Federal Census for Joliet, Will Co., Illinois, District 182, records siblings William (40) and Grace R. (34) McCurrie living at the old home place at 302 Henry Street. Next door, 304 Henry Street, is their sister Elizabeth McCurrie (36) living with her widowed uncle James Haddow (69). Isabelle has apparently passed away. Tracing the census records point to James H. Haddow and Isabelle being brother and sister. [Note: Oct. 13, 1914 - James HADDOW, of Joliet, aged 74 years. He was for thirty years a keeper of the Illinois State Penitentiary.]

The 1920 Federal Census for Joliet, Will Co., Illinois, District 177, page 226A, dated January 4, 1920 records Elizabeth A. (46) and Grace R. (43) McCurrie continuing to live at 304 Henry Street. Elizabeth has no employment while Grace is a Forelady at a Factory. No McCurrie family members are in 302 Henry Street where they are listed in the 1910 census shown above, however, next door is Grace and Lizzie's the married sister Jean and her husband ... see general notes of Jean McCurrie fort 1920 census facts.

The 1930 Federal Census for Joliet, Will Co., Illinois, District 44, records Elizabeth (56) and Grace (53) McCurrie continuing to live at 304 Henry Street. Next door, 306 Henry Street, is their married sister, Jean: Edward Yunker (59) and Jean Yunker (56).

Isabelle married Peter McCurrie, son of William McCurrie and Jeane, circa 1868. (Peter McCurrie was born circa 1832 in Scotland, died on 31 Oct 1881 in Joliet City, Will Co., Illinois and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Joliet, Will Co., IL.)
