William McCurrie made an application for a passport on April 8, 1920 in order to visit a sick nephew in Scotland. He is currently living in Cleveland, Ohio where he is employed as a machinist. He intends to leave New York on board the ship Baltic on June 26, 1920.
William is listed in the 1910 census in Joliet (see general notes on his mother, Isabelle Haddow) and in the 1920 census in Cleveland, Ohio as a Machinist for the Acme Manufacturing Company and he remains single.

The obituary for William McCurrie was researched by Catherine Passas of New Lenox, IL and sent to this researcher in February 2009: Joliet Evening News, Wednesday July 6, 1927 William McCurrie dies in Cleveland William McCurrie, 58 years old, former resident of Joliet, died last night in Cleveland, where he has been residing for the past three or four years, according to word received here by relatives. Mr. McCurrie was in Joliet last week, returning to Cleveland only a few days ago. He was taken to a hospital yesterday and died there last night. He is survived by three sisters. Grace and Elizabeth McCurrie, 302 Henry Street, Mrs Edward W. Yunker, 306 Henry Street, and a brother, John R. McCurrie, Ridgewood. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
