Emily C. Daughtrey wrote that Olivia Daughtrey married Jeff Johnson and had children: Cordie and Robert. She indicated that several died of diphtheria. The 1920 Federal Census for the Windsor District, Isle of Wight County, VA records Olivia and Jeff with children: John L. (7) and Robert D. (26). In the household are Margaret W. Johnson (26) and grandchildren Elizabeth W. (3 1/2) and Robert A. Jr. (10/12). The 1930 Federal Census for Isle of Wight records Jefferson and Olivia Johnson having their son, Cordie, and his family in the household.

(Oct 1889) and Robert A. (Oct 1893). Jefferson and Olivia have been married 11 years with 3 children of which 2 are still living. Also in the household is Aunt Elizabeth M. Norfleet (May 1835 - widow with 0 children).

The 1910 Federal Census for the Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 5, page 199A records Jef D. (sic) (47) and Livey (40) Johnson with sons Cordie N. (20) and Robert A. (17) Johnson. Jeff and Livey have been married 21 years with 6 children of which only 2 are still living.

The 1920 Federal Census for the Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 5, page 199A, dated January 27, 1920 records Jeff D. (58 - VA/VA/VA) and Olivia (50 - VA/VA/VA) Johnson with sons John L. (7) and Robert A. (26) Johnson. Also in the household are Margarett W. Johnson (26 - Boarder), grand children Elizabeth W. Johnson (3 6/12) and Robert A. Johnson Jr. (10/12, and the widow Elizabeth M. Norfleet (84 - Boarder). Margarett is Robert Johnson's wife and Elizabeth M. Norfleet is Olivia's aunt. Jeff is a farmer.

The 1930 Federal Census for the Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 9, page 304A records Jefferson (68) and Olivia (61) Johnson continuing to farm. Also in the household is their son's family: Cordy (sic) Johnson (40) and his wife Elizabeth (40 - NC) with children Hellen (17 - VA), Hazell (13 - VA), and Lawrence (17 - VA). Cordie and Elizabeth have been married since the age of 22. Note: While Lawrence is listed as a grandson (aka Cordie's son), Lawrence is actually Jefferson's and Olivia's son.

The 1940 Federal Census for the Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Virginia, District 47-10, page 174B, dated May 22, 1940 records the widower Jeff D. Johnson (80) living near the intersection of Rte 629 & Rte 612. Also in the household are his son Robt H. Johnson (45) with his wife Margaret W. Johnson (45) as well as Jeff's son Lawrence Johnson (28) with his wife Meta G. Johnson (21)
