(Sept 1848 - GA/GA/GA) and Sarah A. (Dec 1852 - GA/GA/GA) Swinney and their children Mary N. (Oct 1884), Lelia O. (Mar 1886), Willie A. (Mar 1890), Ethel C. (May 1897). William is a Physicain. It is interesting to note that William and Sarah indicate that they have been married for 16 years and have had 4 children yet they have a grand daughter with the surname Rawles and all listed children are single. Perhaps William was previously married and had a daughter named Immaror which is what the 1910 Census indicates: The 1910 Federal Census for McRae, Telfair Co., Georgia District 161, page 214B records William E. Swinney (62 - GA/GA/GA) with his wife Sarah A. (57 - GA/GA/GA) and children Newton (26), Willie (20), and Ethel (12) living on the Jacksonville Road. This is the 2nd marriage for William and 1st for Sarah. They have been married for 26 years and have had 4 children. William is employed in the Manufacture of Soft Beverages.
