The 1900 Federal Census for Jacksonville, Telfair Co., Georgia, District 85, page 237B records Braxton B. Rawls (May 1861) and Sadie F. (May 1871-GA) with children Lawrence E. (August 1895) and Joe (July 1898). Braxton is listed as employed at M F G Naval Store. Braxton and Sadie have been married for 5 years and have had 2 children.

The 1910 Federal Census for Georgia, Taylor Co., Butler , District 120, page 226A records B. B. Rawls (47) and Hattie C. (44) Rawls with children Mae (16), Lonnie (13), Joe (11), Christine (9), and Sadie (8). This is the 3rd marriage for Braxton and 1st for Hattie. They have been married 3 years and have no children between them. Braxton is a Dealer at the Naval Store. Mae is a daughter by Braxton's 1st wife and was living with her grand parents in 1900. Braxton's 2nd wife has died and he has remarried to Hattie.

The WWI Draft Registration Card for his son, Eugene Lawrence Rawls, indicates that B. B. Rawls is living in Butler, Georgia as of June 5, 1918.

The 1920 Federal Census for Butler, Taylor Co., Georgia, District 116, page 183A records Braxton B. (57) and Hattie C. (54) Rawls (indexed as Bank at ancestry.com) with children Eugene L (23), Jos W. (21), Christine (19), and Sadie S. (16). Braxton is a Farmer, Eugene is a Cashier in a Bank, and Joe is a Cotton Salesman.

The 1930 Federal Census for Clearwater, Pinellas Co., Florida, District 47 records the widower Braxton B. Rawls (67 - VA/VA/VA) owning and managing a Hotel (valued at $60,000) at 200 Osceola Ave. Also in the household (hotel) is William H. Wolfe (28 - Florida/US/US) and his wife Sarah F. Wolfe (26 - GA/VA/GA). Also in the household is Braxton's divorced niece, Hattie C. Daniel (40 - Florida/Georgia/Florida). William is a Lawyer in General Practice and Sarah is Braxton's daughter, Sadie. William and Sarah have just recently married. Hattie is an agent for house rentals.
Notes about Hattie C. Daniel: The 1920 Federal Census for Clearwater, Pinellas Co., Florida, District 145 records the divorcee Hattie C. Daniel (31 -FL/GA/FL) with her daughters Harriet (10 - GA/GA/FL) and Rebecca (9 - GA/GA/FL) renting a place at 625 Cleveland Street.
The 1910 Federal Census for Tifton Ward 2, Tift Co., Georgia, District 165 records Harriet Daniels (22 - FL/GA/FL) with her husband of 3 years, Orman Daniels (32 - GA/GA/GA) and their daughter Harriet Daniels (11/12 - GA). Orman is a Physician. Not sure how Hattie is a "niece" of Braxton B. Rawls.
