Abigail Porter
Andrew and Abigail Rawls of the Upper Parish of Nansemond County, Virginia were listed as heirs to one-eighteenth part of the estate of Abigail's cousin Nathaniel Tynes (Edgecombe County, N.C. Deed Book 13, pages 129 and 191, dates 18 February 1809). It is noted here that on October 30, 1809 Abigail's brother, Elijah Porter, sold his one-eighteen share of the estate of his cousin, Nathaniel Tynes (Edgecombe County, N.C. Deed Book 13, page 275). Nathanial is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth King Tynes. Elizabeth is the sister of Bathsheba King Porter.
Abigail married Andrew Rawls, son of David Rawls and Elizabeth. (Andrew Rawls was born about 1777 in Nansemond Co, VA. and died on 31 Dec 1852 in Nansemond Co, VA..) |
