bullet  General Notes:

In an email from Candace Jeffers on 3/19/2006 (descendent of Sarah Rebecca Daughtrey): Sara was married to David E. Morgan, also known as Tom. He was a redhead and thought he was quite popular with the ladies. The homeplace that he built is still occupied by a Morgan descendant and quite a nice place in the south of Richmond county. Sara and David had one daughter [and 4 sons] named Minnie who lived on the farm with her brother Louis after her "mail order" con man husband left her in Augusta. His name was O. G. Myers and was from Indiana. After he left in the middle of the night, with some persuasion from the brothers and David, she stayed on the land. She had a bird which she named O. G. and she was nuts about the bird. Her granddaughter, the daughter of her son Meredith Anderson, still lives on the property. That is where the Morgan cemetery is located too. Meredith was married to Florence Carol Rauton in Augusta in August of 1940.
... from a January 9, 2013 email from Candace: Meredith's daughter told me it is Otis [O. G. Myers]! ... I found her and him in several locations in Indiana. He worked as an insurance salesman and they moved to several cities.

William is an Operator of a Filling Station and has completed 2 years of college. Lewis has completed 7 years of schooling while Minnie has completed 4 years of high school.
