The U.S. Federal Census Mortality Schedules, 1850-1880 at ancestry.com for 1870 in Augusta, Richmond Co., Georgia, page 585, enumerated by Isham Thompson records Frances A. Lang (sic) [Losey], born in Ohio, died in March of Scarlet Fever at age 7. It is reported that she was sick for only 3 days. Note: The written script on this document certainly "looks like" Lang; however, it could be intened as L A U Z E ... the in house 1860 census is also enumerated by Isham Thompson and this fellow writes Lausey for Losey and "Dortery" for Daughtrey ... (see general notes on Isaac Losey for 1860 census facts)
