He is living with his wife at 1431 Allison Street in Philadelphia and is working as a Foreman with Woodward S. W. & Co. at 3rd and Cherry in Phildadelphia. His physical description is medium in height and build with grey eyes and black hair.
Checking Charles Lenox (son of David and Mary Hagen Lenox): WWI Draft Registration-born Nov 20, 1890 (Charles Douglas Lenox). This is consistent with the 1900 census record. Note that there is another Charles Lenox born in 1890 listed in the WWI Draft records. He is from NJ and is born Sept 3, 1890 and is Charles R. Lenox. SSDI index records a Charles Lenox died June 1964 and born Sept 3, 1890. I had this as MY Charles Lenox and it must be IN-Correct.
The 1920 Federal Census for Philadelphia, Pa. ED#1171, page 4B) records Charles D. Lenox (29) and wife Josephine (28) living at 1467 57th Street. His occupation is listed as Foreman at a Grain Mill.
The 1930 Federal Census for Moorestown, Burlington Co., N.J. ED#44, page 93A taken April 9, 1930 records Charles (38 - PA/PA/PA) and Josephine (39 - PA/PA/PA) Lenox renting on South Garfield Avenue with children Josephine (9 10/12 - PA/PA/PA), Charles (8 4/12 - PA/PA/PA), Robert (5 9/12 - PA/PA/PA), and adopted daughter Jean Applegate (7 7/12 - PA/VA/PA). Charles' occupation is listed as a Milk Route Driver and has been married for 16 years.
The 1940 Federal Census for Moorestown, Burlington Co., N.J. ED# 3-64, page 785A taken April 27, 1940 records Charles D. (49 - PA) and Josephine B. (50 - PA) Lenox with children Josephine B. (19 - PA), Charles (18 - PA), and Robert (15 - PA) renting a place at 16 New Albany Road at $22 / month. Charles has complated 1 year of high school and his occupation is listed as a Fireman at the Post Office earning $1,260 working 52 weeks during the last year.
