(Sept 1860) and children John T. (May 1888), Hattie M. (May 1890), Nannie B. (May 1893), Lindwood T. (Oct 1894), Lessie A. (July 1896), and Lena P. (Aug 1898). A. W. & Julli have been married for 13 years and have had 6 children all of whom are still living.

The 1910 Federal Census for the Tunstall District, Pittsylvania Co., VA, ED#108, page 118B, dated April 16, 1910 records Augustine W. Hagood (56) with wife Susan A. (49) and children John T. (21), Hattie M. (19), Bessie M. (16), Linwood T. (14), Malissa A. (13), Lena P. (11), Eva G. (9), Sallie L. (8) farming along Chatham Road. Augustin and Susan have been married for 23 years and have had 8 children all of whom are still married.

The 1920 Federal Census for the Dan River District, Pittsylvania Co., VA (ED#149, page 209A, dated February 12, 1920) records Augustin W. Hagood (66) with wife Julia A. (59) and children Lynwood T. (23), Lena P. (21), Eva G. (19), Sallie Lou (18). Also in the household is brother L. David Hagood (64), a widower. Next door is Gus' son, John T. Hagood (30) with his wife Myrtle (27) and daughter Julian Nile Hagood (3). Augustine is a farmer while John is a Laborer for the Rail Road.
