Gloucester -- Mrs. Margaret " Peggy" Hagen Mann, 75, a homemaker, wife of Robert W. Mann.
Peggy was named for Alvah's sister, Margaret. As told to this researcher by his mother, Inez D. Hagen, in a story told many years ago, Alvah and Alta were very much in love and their first child was conceived out of wedlock. After their son, Derald [aka Paul], was born the couple with a new baby came to live for a time with Alvah's parents and family. Supposedly, Alvah's sister, Margaret Hagen, was the only Hagen in the house who was nice to Alta. During this conversation, Margaret's middle name was given as Jean; however, marriage records for her children indicate it to be Josephine.
In a September 8, 2009 phone call with Verna Graybill Seeley (Alta Keil Hagen's niece), Verna described Peggy as a "beautiful girl, as were all the Keil girls" and that "Peggy looked like her mother", Alta Grace Keil Hagen.
