General Notes:
The Davis & Missouri Keil Family Bible records what appears to be Annie E. Singiser died on February 2, 1951. Although the last name is difficult to read and no husband nor location is given it appears Singiser is correct. The 1920 Federal Census for Ohio, Summit Co., Akron Ward 3, District 14 records Frank A. (37) and Annie E. (37) Singiser with daughter Florence E. (8) all born in Pennsylvania. This can be coupled with the 1910 Federal Census for Pennsylvania, Cumberland Co., 5-Wd Mechanicsburg, District 2 where Frank (27) and Annie (27) Singiser are living at 220 West Simpson Street with Frank's brother, Murray W. Singiser (24). This, of course, is where Annie E. Keil was born and raised thus making the "Singiser" surname a most likely choice. Additional facts confirming this conclusion are that in the 1920 census record, Annie's parents are born in PA and Ohio which is consistent for Davis and Missouri Keil.
In 1920, Frank is a Tire Finisher in a Rubber Shop. In 1910 he is a Bender in a Spoke Shop.
The 1930 Federal Census for Altoona, Blair Co., PA, District 40, page 212B records Frank A. Sininger (sic) (47) with his wife Annie E. (47) and daughter Florence E. (18). Frank is a building contractor who owns his home at 5403 Montrose Avenue and has been married to Annie for 21 years.
The 1940 Federal Census for Altoona, Blair Co., PA, District 7-60B, Sheet 1A, dated April 17, 1940 records Frank A. Singinger (57 - PA) with his wife Annie (57 - PA) living at 5403 Montrose Avenue. Frank is a carpenter in building constrution and earned $480 while working 16 weeks during the last year. They own their home valued at $3,500. Renting at this address for $18 / month are Edward R. (27 - PA) and E. Pauline (25 - PA) Bowman and their son Edward R. Jr. (11/12). Frank has completed 8 years of schooling while Annie has completed 7 years.
