The 1850 census (see notes on her father) records her name as Goudy, however, the death certificate of her daughter, Missouri, lists her surname as Gowdy. Following census records of parents and siblings indicate the surname to be spelled Goudy.
Sarah married Samuel George Cramer/Creamer, son of George Cramer/Creamer and Elizabeth, about 1848.
