General Notes: The 1850 Federal Census of Eastpennsborough in Cumberland County, PA, page 391A, dated August 7, 1850 records Samuel Goudy (55 - PA) with wife Ann (47 - PA) and children William (25 - PA), Jacob (21 - PA), Nancy Jane (14 - PA), John (10 - PA), Susanna (8 - PA), and Catherine (6 - PA). Next door is another daughter, Sarah (24 - PA), recently married to Samuel Cremer (26 - PA) (aka Creamer/Cramer). They have a son, George W. Cremmer (1 - PA). Samuel Goudy is a carpenter and Samuel Cramer is a Stone Mason. The previous page of the census records Elvira Goudy (3) (indexed as Elera Gundy at ancestry) living in the household that includes David (56 - Germany) and Catherine (45) Neathammer, John Nininger (55 - Germany) and Mary Neathammer (18 - PA).
