He is currently living at 61 Baltimore Street in Wilkes Barre and names his father, John Delmore, living at 16 Solomon Street in Wilkes Barre, as his nearest relative. James is medium height with slender build and gray eyes and brown hair. Checking the 1920 census records for John Delmore indicates that his father remarried to a Catherine and had a new family. The 1930 Federal Census for Hanover Township, Luzerne, PA (ED#63, page 143A) taken April 4, 1930 records James (45 - PA/PA/PA) and Ethel (30 - PA/PA/PA) Leo (sic) with daughter Mary (2 3/12) renting at 9 1/2 Solomon Street. James has been married 3 years and is a pump runner at a silk mill. The census taker recorded the name incorrectly.
