Notes from Emily Christine Daughtrey indicated that Katheryn married and had 5 children ... but did not mention the name of her husband. The husband was determined by census records and a North Carolina Marriage index.

The 1920 Federal Census for Wakefield, Sussex Co., Virginia, District 119, page 97B, dated Feb 13, 1920 records Otto (31 - OH/OH/OH) and Kathleen (24 - VA/VA/VA) Presnell with their children Eugene (7), Mylan (5), Willard (4), Marybell (2), and Charles (5/12) living on Wilson Avenue. Otto is a Telegraph Operator.

The 1930 Federal Census for Blendon, Nottoway Co., Virginia, District 4, page 72B, dated April 26, 1930 records children Eugene Pressnell (16 - VA/OH/VA), Mylan Pressnell (15 - VA/OH/VA), James W. (14 - VA/OH/VA), Charles E. Pressnell (10 - VA/OH/VA), and Cleo L. Pressnell (9 - VA/OH/VA) living with their widowed grandmother, Ida B. Gracy (63 - WV/PA/OH) and uncle Eugene Pressnell (28 - OH/ Northern Ireland/WV).

Kathlene married Otto Pressnell, son of Unknown and Ida Bell Conner, on 2 Feb 1913 in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank Co., NC. (Otto Pressnell was born on 14 Aug 1888 in Ohio, died on 30 Nov 1932 in Cambridge, Guernsey Co., Ohio and was buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Nottoway Co., VA.)
