Mary Beale Hitchens
Age 94, of Ocean View, DE passed away at the home of her son in Islip Terrace, NY on Saturday, May 12, 2007.
She was known for her love of flowers and worked continuously in her flower garden of Iris and Daylilies.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul H. Hitchens. She is survived by her son, James D. Hitchens of Islip Terrace, NY; 2 sisters, Virginia B. Conrad of Norfolk, VA, and Emily Matacia of San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 17, at 10 am, at Mariner's Bethel Cemetery in Ocean View. Evangelist Art Decker will be officiating.
