(Jan 1881), Julia F. (Dec 1882), Robert H. (Sept 1884), Emmet S. (July 1886), Rosie (Aug 1889), Gracie (Aug 1891), John A. (June 1893), Kate B. (March 1895), Keystor (March 1898). Also in the household is Benjamin's aunt, Mary J. Terry (Oct 1832). Benjamin is a Blacksmith and has been married to Fannie for 23 years. They have had 12 children of whom 11 are still living.

(16), Kate (14), and Keister (12). Benjamin is a Blacksmith with his own shop and has been married to Fannie for 34 years. They have had 12 children of whom 11 are still living.
By 1920, much of the Terry family moves to the Cave Spring District of Roanoke County, VA [This includes Ben & Julia as well as children Emmett and his wife Eliza, William and his wife Mary, Keistor and by 1930 this includes Rose and her husband Edgar Gardner and Rose's sister, Florence]:

Terry (35) and aunt Mary J. Terry (88) next door to Emmett S. (33) and Eliza (23) Terry with their children Helen (4 4/12), Lucile (3 4/12), and Jackson (1 10/12). Next door to Emmett is his brother William Terry (38) and his wife Mary S. (37) with their children Mabel (14), Ester (22 - son), Kermit (10), Stokely (7 - son), and Beulah (1 5/12). Benjamin is a Merchant of Genral Merchandise, Emmet is a Salesman for Stoves & Ranges, William is a House Carpenter, and Robert has a Blacksmith Shop.
The 1930 Federal Census for Cave Spring, Roanoke Co., VA, District 8, page 208A, dated April 14, 1930 records Benjamin (74) and Julia F. (72) Terry next door to Emmet (43) and Eliza E. (33) Terry with their children Helen (15), Lucille (14), Jack (12), Edward (10), Mary (8), David (6), Burton (4), Francis (2 6/12), and Russell (1) living on Starkey Road near Buck Mountain Road. Next door to Emmet is his brother William Terry (49) and his wife Mary (48) with their children Ester (22 - son), Stokely (17 - son), Beulah (12), and Doyce (8 - son). Living with William is his married sister, Florence T. Brooks (52) who has been married since age 18. William has been married for 29 years, Emmet for 16, and Benjamin for 54 years. Benjamin is the Proprietor of a General Store, Emmet is a Salesman for a Furniture Store, William is a Carpenter for a Building Company, and Ester is a "Spinner" at a Silk Mill.

Benjamin married Julia Francis Law, daughter of Marshall P. Law and Lucy J. Gilbert, on 6 Dec 1876 in Henry Co., VA. (Julia Francis Law was born about 1859 in Henry Co, Va. and died on 15 Jan 1943.)
