Dear Tom [Hagen] & Bolling [Hagen]:
Hello, my name is Valerie Monteith Stephens and I am the daughter of Edith Mae Troup (nee Hagen). It was just a quirk that I goggled in my mother's name and came across your website. I saw that you have my brother, John W. Monteith, Jr. listed on the site, but to date he has never discussed any of this me or my sister Judy. Have you ever contacted him?
My mother's sister Elizabeth (Bette) Troup, who was married to my father's brother Thomas Monteith is also passed away. She died in 1992. She had two sons, William John Monteith who passed away in 1990 at the age of 42 and Thomas James Monteith who is living in West Chester, Pa. To the best of my knowledge, my grandmother (Edith S. Hagen) had been previously married and had two children named Walter and Viola before re-marrying Ulysses S. Troup.
