Thonie Parker is the first wife of Randolph Rawls. She was the sister to his second wife, Christine Parker. Thonie died a year or so after the marriage, probably in child birth. Bethaney married Randolph Eugene Rawls Sr., son of Andrew Rawls and Abigail Porter, circa 1838. (Randolph Eugene Rawls Sr. was born on 17 Jan 1811 in Nansemond Co, VA, died on 18 Oct 1882 in Nansemond Co, VA. and was buried in Holy Neck Christian Church Cemetery, Nansemond County.)
