Death Notice in the New Era of Lancaster, Pa. dated Sept. 30, 1889
Actual Paper located in The Lancaster Historical Society and reports the date of death as Sept. 29, 1889, age 8 years.
This child was probably named Adam John Hagen in that Maggie Pearson Hagen's sister, Mary, was married to Adam John Eberly. Adam and Mary were neighbors of Edwin and Maggie in Lancaster and probably very close. Also in the neighborhood was Maggie and Mary's mother, Salome, and several Shirk related aunts and Eberly cousins.
