A Pretty Ceremony on Tuesday Evening at the Olivet Baptist Church.
Mr. Betram E. De Laney, stenographer at the Henry Martin Brick machine Manufacturing
Company, was united in marriage on Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock, to Miss Emma S. Hagen, daughter of Mr. Edward W. Hagen, of 131 North Charlotte Street. The Wedding took place in the Olivet Baptist Church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Warren J. Johnson, of Lebanon, Pa., assisted by Rev. Charles F. McMann, pastor of the church. The couple were attended by Mr. William J. Eberly as best man and by the bride's half-sister Miss M. Elizabeth Baker, as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Bertha Eichheitz, Miss Bessie Briggs, Miss Lettie Smultz and Miss Lilliam Hershock., all of this city. The ushers were Messrs. Harry Lautz, Luther Obie, Jacob Hupper, and Frank Kendig, also all of this city. The wedding march was ably rendered by Miss Martha Givier as the bridal party entered the church, which was most beautifully decorated for the occasion. After the church ceremony, which was largely attended, a most delightful reception was given at the home of the bride's parents. The happy couple will make their home in Lancaster, and their address will be 308 West James Street.
